The Ban on Water Softeners in Communities

Some communities in the United States have banned water softeners due to the discharge of salt in the backwash cycles. This could result in a harmful interference with the natural breakdown in the sewers and septic systems due to the brine waste discharge that is produced by most water softeners. The brine that is produced then ends up in public wastewater systems and has a detrimental impact on groundwater and the ecosystem.

To alleviate this potential problem, systems such as the PuriTec Superior Water Condition (SWC) can be used. Such a system is magnetic based and can be utilized to condition hard water. The system does not need salt or electricity and has no water waste.

Lime and scale deposits, as well as corrosion, can magnetically suspend hard minerals in the water throughout the home. This includes minerals contained in hot and cold water lines, water heaters, icemakers, humidifiers and other water processing units.

As a result of the operations of the SWC system, pollution does not occur. There are no chemicals or other additives used and your water will be clean and clear, making it conducive to drinking. The treatment will not affect the safety of your water.

There are other benefits to the PuriTec Superior Water Conditioner, other than the environmental benefits the systems provides. These other benefits include the prolonged lifespan of water heaters, plumbing and fixtures and appliances (both large and small), as well as the reduction in household cleaning and maintenance. Hard water scale build-up is reduced.

A traditional water softener may provide you with clean hair and skin, but you will not feel the slippery effects of that cleansing when the SWC is used.
